The plastic thread is made from recycled plastic.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003e Our baskets are made by a group of women from the Theis Region, approximately 122 km north of Dakar, Senegal. These women work hard to support their families. They spend their time either producing our products or cultivating their fields. Most of the women’s villages still lack electricity and water, meaning they have to walk more than 5 kilometers to charge their phones and fetch water using donkeys or horses.
