🤷 How do you launch a new market when you don't yet know the way?
🗣️ You start by meeting people who know more than you do. That's what we spent today doing.
Josephine and I have had our first day in Nairobi, and it has been both intense, educational, and very inspiring.
🫅 We started the day at the Royal Danish Embassy, which gave us valuable perspectives on Kenya and on building collaborations with respect, understanding, and a long-term view.
🛳️ Afterwards, we visited Blue Logistics Group A/S at their headquarters in Kenya, where we gained concrete insight into what it takes to create a responsible and well-functioning flow of goods between Kenya and Denmark.
Later, we met with a wise and honest local woman (Linda Anyango), who gave us insight into the Kenyan reality, the system, the culture, and the conditions we should understand — including what is not always written down anywhere. That type of insight is invaluable.
Overall, it has been a fantastic first day.
Now Josephine and I are lying in bed, tired in a good way, with our heads full of experiences and great anticipation for tomorrow.
Happy greetings from Nairobi 🌍
P.S. Thanks for reading.
