1. What is Molly’s Heart?
Molly’s Heart is a Danish-owned webshop offering handmade interior products created in collaboration with artisans and producer groups in countries such as Senegal, Ghana, and Kenya. We operate with ethical trade, fair trade, and focus on creating better lives for women and their families.

2. What does fair trade mean at Molly’s Heart?
We are members of Fair Trade Denmark and Ethical Trade Denmark and have signed the international guidelines for ethical and fair production and collaboration. We work towards fair pay, responsible collaborations, and improved market access.

3. Where are the products made?
Our products are made by skilled artisans in countries including Senegal, Ghana, and Kenya. The country of origin is generally stated on the product page.

4. Are all products handmade?
Yes, most products are handmade. This means that small variations in shape, color, and size may occur. We do not consider these to be flaws, but rather a part of the product's unique character.

5. Why can two products look a little different?
Because the products are not mass-produced. They are handmade from natural or recycled materials, and each product bears the unique mark of the person who created it.

6. What materials do you use?
We work with materials such as elephant grass, sisal, raffia, palm leaves, recycled plastic thread, and other local materials. The materials are specified on the individual product pages.

7. How do I care for my product?
It depends on the material. As a general rule, we recommend wiping baskets and woven products with a dry or slightly damp cloth and storing them in a dry place. Baskets made of elephant grass can be rinsed in lukewarm water. Avoid prolonged direct moisture and strong sunlight, as natural materials can change over time.

8. What is the delivery time?
We usually ship within 1-2 days. If an item is out of stock, there may be a longer waiting period, as handmade production and transport from Africa often take several months. We have waiting lists you can sign up for, so please feel free to call or write to us.

9. Why can out-of-stock items take a long time to return?
Because the products are handmade and are part of long value chains. From the start of production until the goods arrive in the webshop, it can often take around six months.

10. What does shipping cost?
If your purchase exceeds DKK 499, shipping is free.
The shipping price depends on the package's size, weight, and delivery method. The final shipping price will be displayed at checkout before you pay.

11. Can I pick up my order?
Yes, you can choose pickup at checkout.

12. Can I return an item?

13. How do I return an item?
Write to us at info@mollysheart.dk with your order number, and we will assist you further. The item must be returned in the same condition as you received it, and you should pack it securely.

14. Who pays for return shipping?
This needs to be stated very clearly. If the customer pays for return shipping themselves, you pay for the return shipping yourself, unless the item is faulty or incorrectly delivered.

15. What do I do if my item is damaged upon delivery?
Contact us as soon as possible at info@mollysheart.dk and attach photos of the item and the packaging. We will then find a solution.

16. Do I have a right to complain?

Yes, and they are valid for two years. Search for gift cards, and they will appear in the webshop.

18. Do you gift wrap?
Yes, smaller items can be gift-wrapped. Please write in the comment field when placing your order if you wish to have it gift-wrapped.

The price reflects materials, craftsmanship, fair wages, transport, customs duties, VAT, storage, marketing, and operations. At Molly’s Heart, you are not just buying a product, but also a piece of craftsmanship and a more responsible trade relationship.
