Climate change is costing the world $16 million an hour. It's not a future threat – it's happening now.

🌍 I have just returned from the Phenix Capital Impact Summit in Amsterdam – and I am leaving with both motivation and a knot in my stomach .

Motivation, because there are so many who work for change. Who dare to think big, build new solutions and spend money in a way that makes a difference. It was inspiring to be a part of – and a great joy to contribute actively to the conference.

The audience represented over đź’°13 trillion dollars in capital. That makes me hopeful. Because if just a small portion of that money is used right, we can create a better and more sustainable world.

But I also feel restless. Because we are busy. As one of the speakers said: We are still trying to improve old systems, while the climate crisis grows and promises do not turn into action. That is why we need to think new. And act faster.

One concept that has stuck is “competitive sustainability” . It’s about creating solutions that both help the world and are economically strong. That’s exactly the philosophy we work with at Molly’s Heart – where our goal is to show that you can do good and run a business at the same time.

The conference confirmed one thing for me: It's time to act now. Green transition is not a choice – it's a necessity.
