White handwoven laundry basket with brown leather

This white laundry basket with lid is handwoven in Senegal. Use it for laundry or for storing blankets, cushions and toys.

Large: approx. 75 cm high with lid and 44 to 46 cm in diameter
Medium: approx. 66 cm high with lid and 38 to 40 cm in diameter
Small: approx. 50 cm high with lid and approx. 32 cm in diameter

Materials and origin

The basket is woven from natural fibres and plastic thread and has leather details. It is made by women in the Thiès region of Senegal. Colour, shape and weave may vary slightly from basket to basket.

How to care for the basket

Wipe it with a dry or slightly damp cloth and allow it to dry completely. Store the basket in a dry place.
