Seconds means that the shape may be slightly uneven or some of the plastic threads may have broken. The threads can be glued.

Seconds cannot be exchanged.

The baskets are beautiful, handmade and fully usable, but they may have minor irregularities in shape, weave or finish. Handmade baskets will always vary, but these models have slightly more variation than we normally accept.

About the basket:
This basket is handwoven by women in Senegal and combines function, quality and simple design. It can be used as a laundry basket or to store blankets, cushions, toys and other household items. Each basket has its own colour pattern.

All baskets are handwoven and may therefore vary slightly in size and appearance. This is part of their charm and makes every basket special.

The story behind the basket:
The baskets are woven by women in the Thiès region of Senegal. Their craft gives them an opportunity to earn an income and help support their families.
