Bolga basket with handle – grass green

A grass-green Bolga basket with a handle, handwoven in Bolgatanga in northern Ghana. Use the basket for shopping, knitting projects, or small items you want to keep together and easily carry with you.

Materials and sizes

The basket is woven from elephant grass. The handiwork results in small variations in colour, shape, and dimensions.

• Medium: approx. 26–28 cm in diameter and 20 cm high without handle.
• Large: approx. 37–40 cm in diameter and 25 cm high without handle.

How do I care for and shape the basket?

Wipe the basket with a slightly damp cloth. If the basket has changed shape, you can dampen it slightly with lukewarm water, reshape it gently, and let it dry completely.
