Bolga basket with handle – turquoise

A turquoise Bolga basket with a handle, handwoven in Bolgatanga in northern Ghana. Use the basket for shopping, knitting projects, or small items that you want to keep together and easily take with you.

Material and sizes

The basket is woven from elephant grass. The handiwork results in small variations in colour, shape, and measurements.

• Medium: approx. 26–28 cm in diameter and 20 cm high without handle.
• Large: approx. 37–40 cm in diameter and 25 cm high without handle.

How do I care for and shape the basket?

Wipe the basket with a slightly damp cloth. If the basket has lost its shape, you can lightly moisten it with lukewarm water, gently reshape it, and let it dry completely.
