Bolga basket with handle – black

A black Bolga basket with a handle, handwoven in Bolgatanga in northern Ghana. Use the basket for shopping, knitting projects, or small items you want to keep together and easily carry with you.

Material and sizes

The basket is woven from elephant grass. The handcrafting results in slight variations in colour, shape, and dimensions.

• Medium: approx. 26–28 cm in diameter and 20 cm high excluding handle.
• Large: approx. 37–40 cm in diameter and 25 cm high excluding handle.

How do I care for and shape the basket?

Wipe the basket with a slightly damp cloth. If the basket has changed shape, you can dampen it slightly with lukewarm water, gently reshape it, and let it dry completely.
