Beautiful Fair Trade handmade baskets/trays from Senegal.
The baskets/trays can be used for many different things, such as a bread basket, magazine holder, for gizmos, for serving or just as a beautiful decoration.
The baskets are moisture resistant (although not heavy rain) so you can also use them outside.
A medium basket takes about 1½ days to make. The women are paid according to Fair Trade principles and selling baskets is often the only income the women have.
