Cylindrical basket and basket table – white, Senegal

A white hand-woven storage basket with a flat lid from Senegal. The cylindrical model can be used as a basket table and to store items by the sofa or bed.

The craftsmanship

The basket is made by women in the Thiès region of Senegal. The weaving gives each basket its own unique expression.
