The Touareg people (or the blue nomads) have a long and proud tradition of working with leather. Originally the leather came from goats, sheep and lambs that migrated with them. Today, many have settled in West Africa and get leather scraps from, among others, large Italian fashion manufacturers, so you will find that the boxes are made of the softest leather.
