A handwoven basket with a flat lid for laundry, toys or blankets. The lid conceals the contents, so the basket can also be kept on display in the living room.

Dimensions and material

  • Approx. 50–52 cm high and 43 cm in diameter.
  • Woven from elephant grass.

Craftsmanship from Ghana

The basket is woven by women in Bolgatanga in northern Ghana. The handwork results in small variations in dimensions, shape and weave.
