Original, unique baskets woven by Ghanaian women under Danish Fair Trade conditions. The beautiful baskets come in a sea of colors. Use them as a shopping basket, picnic basket, for storing magazines, toilet paper, knitting, or other items.

Material: The basket is made from elephant grass and is the result of a long process and an ancient, traditional craft.

Care: The basket can be rinsed in lukewarm water.

Measurements:

The majority of the producers are vulnerable women who are neither literate nor numerate and primarily make a living from selling baskets. The area where the baskets are produced, Bolgatanga in northern Ghana, is characterized by extreme poverty.
