Beautiful Fair Trade handmade baskets/trays from Senegal.
The baskets/trays can be used for many different things, such as bread basket, magazine holder, for gizmos, for serving or just as a beautiful decoration.
The baskets can withstand moisture (but not heavy rain), so you can also use them outside.
A medium basket takes approx. 1½ days to make. The women are paid according to Fairtrade principles and the sale of baskets is often the only income the women have.
